Welcome to New School, International School of Georgia! The elementary at New School is a safe, caring and engaging learning environment where students’ agency, curiosity, happiness and academic development are at the centre of all we do. Our school is made up of students and teachers from all around the world that work together to develop a curriculum and programme that is aligned with the Primary Years Programme and international standards.
Through inquiry-based learning, we aim to encourage a genuine excitement and intrinsic desire to learn. Teachers guide students as they engage in authentic learning experiences to develop their knowledge about the world around them. Small class sizes and a teacher and assistant teacher in each classroom provides students with the individual support and guided independence required to ask questions and develop their own investigations as they explore for understanding.
As an International Baccalaureate World School, we aim to foster the growth of the whole child and support them in developing lifelong skills, a deep understanding of universal concepts and positive personal attributes. We believe that a close learning community and a strong partnership between school and home is important for the overall development of a child, and I welcome any potential or current parent to contact me with any questions or comments you may have.
The past few years have been a challenge for all, with education having to adapt and change quickly during a global pandemic. The elementary at New School successfully took student centred learning and moved it online, and we are proud to see the continued success of our students, even in the face of adversity. We are happy to now be back to in person learning, following all safety measures to ensure the wellbeing of the New School community.
I invite you to visit New School to learn more about our exciting programme, facilities, and extracurricular activities. We are celebrating over 20 years of excellence in education, as New School continues to expand, grow, and support students to graduate with a love for lifelong learning.

Dear Parents / Guardians,
Welcome to New School, International School of Georgia. Right from the time of its inception in 1999, the school has traversed quite a distance in its quest for excellence. At New School, we constantly strive to provide holistic education to our students. We are an IB World School and in the upper school, we offer both the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. Our students are invariably able to secure admission into reputed universities across the globe.
The school is located in the historic city of Tbilisi in an extremely safe and secure surrounding and has a vibrant multicultural environment. We are privileged to have a highly experienced and resourceful faculty whom we have recruited from different parts of the globe.
In today’s constantly changing environment along with the multi-dimensional challenges which one encounters on a daily basis, it is imperative for us to focus on all round development rather than having a singular objective of imparting only academic education. We take pride in the fact that our entire education system helps in moulding the personality of the students in such a way that they are equipped to take care of themselves as well as their families, society and the nation as a whole. The final objective is to broaden their vision and thinking, thereby helping them to become global citizens who have the ability to think globally and act locally. The attainment of our goals is entirely dependent on the collaborative participation of teachers, parents/guardians and students. In this context, I would like to emphasize that parents or for that matter any stakeholder in New School is always free to contact me for any issue pertaining to their ward.
It will be our privilege to welcome you to our campus and we look forward to meeting you.
