We aim to teach children that everyone can succeed in math, it is about having a growth mindset. Mindset is more important than initial ability in determining the progress made by students in their mathematical understanding. People with a growth mindset will make better progress than people with a fixed mindset. Week of Inspirational Math is a time to celebrate math, take part in engaging and challenging activities and learn about having a growth mindset.
- Students made their own math games, bring it to school with instructions Student council will choose the winners.
- The 50th day of school, dress up as 50, whatever that means to you!
- Guess how many candies in the jar! Student council will be coming around for you to guess how many candies, the winner will keep the jar of candy.
